Beau reaches Freezin' For Food goal

In setting records for the most poundage and in the quickest time, Beau Spencer helped us raise over 7,400 pounds of non-perishable food items for Radio Macomb's “Freezin' For Food” campaign. The goal going into the food drive Monday morning was 6,611 pounds. At the beginning of the day Tuesday 2,500 pounds had been received and after being outside for 30 hours, Beau was excited to see the donations roll in yesterday...

The preliminary total of non-perishable food was 7,426 pounds. More donations may still come into the station today. Radio Macomb plans on “Freezin' For Food” again next year the week of Thanksgiving.
