Curtis Jay
Curtis
is a 1996 high school graduate of Belvidere High School. After high school
I came to Western Illinois University and began my school time as a law
enforcement major, I later changed majors to broadcasting and graduated
from WIU in 2002. Aside from working, I spend a lot of time at home with
my dog. Music has pretty much always been a huge part of my life, my mom
was (and still is) a member of our church choir, and i have played the
trumpet for... way too long, I have also played guitar for 12 years or
so. I'm also a huge Chicago sports fan; Cubbies, Bears, Blackhawks, and
Heat (no love for the south side though...). My girlfriend Margie and
I are expecting our first child in late July. I've been with Prairie Radio
now for a little over a year, and you can catch me late nights on K-100,
or filling in for whoever is on vacation at any particular time.
